_ The 2019 Brookville Triathlon:

WHERE AND WHEN:

The race will take place on Sunday August 11, 2019 - 7:30 a.m. sharp.

All events start and finish at Joseph A Citta Scout Camp, 229 Brookville Rd Barnegat NJ 08005

Field limited to the first 300 entrants, sign up early!

FOR YOUR INFORMATION:   USAT rules state that competitors may wear wetsuits if the water temperature is 78 degrees or lower.
USAT rules also state that if the water temperature is between 78.1 - 83.9 degrees, competitors may wear wetsuits but will not be eligible for awards.
If the water temperature is 84 degrees or above, participants may not wear wetsuits.

SATURDAY AUGUST 10th

Optional Packet pickup at race site (229 Brookville rd) 4:30pm-6:30pm

SUNDAY- AUGUST 11th- RACE DAY SCHEDULE

5:30am- Registration and Transition Opens 

7:15am- Transition Closes and Pre-race meeting

7:30am- Olympic Tri/Du/Aqua start

7:50am Approx. Sprint Tri start (Sprint athletes will start swim about when last Olympic swimmer completes 1st lap.)

11:00am- Post race refreshments and Awards

***There is a small trail run to transition from the swim to the bike. IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE FEET YOU MAY WANT TO BRING SOMETHING TO PUT ON AFTER THE SWIM FOR THE RUN TO BIKE.***

Olympic Triathlon - .9 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike, 10k run

Duathlon - 5k run, 24.6 mile bike, 5k run  

Olympic Aqua bike - .9 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike

Sprint Triathlon - .45 mile swim, 12.2 mile bike, 5k run 

Sprint Aqua bike - .45 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike

Refreshments will be provided at the end of the race
