Description
The Sand Plum Bicycle Classic offers 13-mile, 28-mile, or 50-mile routes through Reno County, Kansas. This is not a race, but a fun ride for all to enjoy. Ride at your leisure. There is also a 5-mile family route available. Your registration fee includes a t-shirt and snack and drink stops along the tour. (T-shirts not guaranteed after April 23rd.) The ride starts and ends in the Oz Gallery Breezeway at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas. Children under age 14 are welcome to ride. They are not charged a registration fee, and they don't receive a shirt.
All riders must wear a helmet. Proceeds from the ride benefit the Friends of the Trail fund at the Hutchinson Community Foundation to support the walking/cycling trails in Reno County.
