_ The 12th Annual Tour de Toad and Iron Toad Charity Bike Ride:
The 12th Annual Tour de Toad takes off on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. (9:00 a.m. registration and packet pick-up) at the Conway Municipal Airport. An official event of Toad Suck Daze, Tour de Toad raises funds to increase literacy in central Arkansas, while encouraging a healthy lifestyle through a fun cycling event.
Cyclists can pick between three routes: a 10-Mile route (Family Ride), 20-Mile route (Intermediate Ride), and a 40-Mile route (Feels like Half-Century Ride). The 40-Mile route is very hilly, and will feel just as challenging as a regular half-century route! The three routes increase in intensity as you go up in miles, perfect for all levels of cyclists!
Visit www.literacyactionar.org/events/tour-de-toad for turn-by-turn route descriptions! We also have an option for Virtual Riders to register -- ideal for anyone who loves cycling and wishes to support Literacy Action but cannot attend the event!
All registration prices include an event t-shirt. Riders must register by Friday, April 12th in order to be guaranteed a t-shirt. All registration prices except for the Virtual Rider option also include a Whole Hog sandwich at the end of the ride.
Each route is fully SAG-supported with aid stations and bathrooms.
This is our 6th year for the IRON TOAD event, where Literacy Action partners with Kiwanis (www.toadsuckrun.com) to award those that complete the Toad Run and the Tour de Toad ride on May 4, 2019, with a custom medal! Please note: medals will only be awarded to participants of both the Kiwanis Toad Suck Daze 5k/10k and Tour de Toad.
All proceeds from the ride support Literacy Action of Central Arkansas.
Updated information is available on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/TourdeToad
All registrants that are 18 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
