Course Information:
Swim
The swim is at beautiful Paradise Beach/Chuckie Lundquist Park in Chisago Lake.
Plenty of buoys will be available to rest if needed and a balloon arch as the guide for the finish point.

The bike route heads west towards Stacy, then north and east to Hwy 16 and loops through Chisgao County.

Both run courses follow residential roads.
Roads are well kept and flat.

From the Twin Cities:
Take 35W or 35E north to I-35.
Take Exit 132 east onto Highway 8 (10 miles) to Chisago City.
At the stoplight go south on Old Towne Road/County Road 24 one block to Stinson Avenue then left to Paradise/Chuckie Lundquist Park. 11031 Stinson Avenue, Chisago City, MN 55013

Take Highway 95 east to North Branch, turn right on County Road 14 then keep right on County Road 77 to Chisago City.
At the stoplight go south on Old Towne Road/County Road 24 one block to Stinson Avenue then left to Paradise/Chuckie Lundquist Park, 11031 Stinson Avenue, Chisago City, MN 55013.

Every participant must have a USAT membership. (If you do not have a USAT membership: add $10 per person for 1 day USAT Insurance.)
Sprint $75 (Sprint Relay $140)
Half $130 (Half Relay $195)
Kids $22 (Less if you have a USAT membership).

Midwest Sports Events provides technically sound, safe, and exciting events. All participants receive a DRI WICK T-SHIRT, logoed swim cap, goody bag, chip timing, food and fun after the event.
There will also be plenty of water and Gatorade stations along the course.
Bike racks will have your race number and wave you start in.
Each mile on the run courses will be marked. All courses will have highly visible signage for each turn.
The long bike course will have aid stations and bottle exchange.
The long run course will have aid stations with Hammer Gel, carbs, and fruit.

Sign up early! The wave you are in is a first come first serve basis and is determined on how early you register. Participants may not switch to a different wave.
If you need to be in the first wave put in this request when registering online via active.com or on the mail-in registration form.
Request needs to be placed at least 2 weeks prior to the event. First wave placement is not guaranteed.

Midwest Sports Events does not give refunds nor do we transfer fees from one race to another.
- - - AWARDS
Awards to the first overall female and male winners.
Age group awards will be given to the top 3 male and female in 5 year increments: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Medals are awarded to the Half finishers.
Awards to the top overall 3 relay teams and Athena and Clydesdale.
Athena and Clydesdale division is scored separately from age groups and is optional to enter. Athena is female 150lbs+ and Clydesdale is male 200lbs+
