Do you have what it takes?
The Powhatan Warrior Run is designed for those who like an obstacle type course that will challenge the toughest competitor. Designed to be a Tough Mudder meets Spartan type of race. It is 5k with over 10 different obstacles such as: 400 meter rock carry, sandbag stair carry, obstacle wall, military crawl, tire flip, hills, pull-ups and more. Race starts at 9:30 am at the Powhatan High School Track. Registration fee is $45.00 (proceeds go PHS Scholarships for students graduating and attending a military college, academy, or college ROTC program).
Event details and schedule
Packet Pick-Up: May 17th at PHS stadium entrance from 3 pm - 4:30 pm or staarting at 8:30am on race day.
Course Information: The course is designed with 10 different obstacles for racers from a rock bucket carry, tire flipping, military crawl, pull-ups, and much more. See course map on pictures below.
Arrival Information: Please arrive before 9:15am.
Parking Information: Please park in the parking lot in front of the school and walk to the track.
Waivers: Waivers will be provided at the day of the race as well as when you register online.
What to bring: You may get dirty depending on how much rain we have had. Bring extra clothes to change into. There are showers available as well as a hose.
What to wear: Running shoes and athletic attire. Clothes may get very muddy and dirty.
