It's a new year and a
new season for triathlons!

It's a new year and a new season for triathlons! This is the first for the year, finishing with a championship race at the beginning of October.

There's 2 distances to choose from for the adults (Sprint & Super Sprint), and races for children. The swim portion is inside the Francis Meadows Aquatics Center in Gainesville, so we're guaranteed to have great water temps. Awesome shirts, finisher medals for everyone, and awards in all of the adult races.

Courses:

The swim will be done in the Aquatics Center Pool; The bike leg will be done on the roads around the aquatics center for the adults, and mostly on property for the kids. The run will be done on the park grounds using all paved surfaces.

Estimated Swim Time:

Participants will start their race by snaking through the Francis Meadows pool. Each athlete will do an out & back in each lane and move through the pool, exiting on the opposite end that they start from.

Athletes will be placed for the swim start based on their estimated swim time. This will allow the faster swimmers to go first, and keep them from catching the slower swimmers.

Please do your best to have an accurate time. You'll need to have your best guess at how long it will take you to complete your entire swim.

Five Star Turkey Trot Qualifier:

All participants will earn a FREE entry into one of the Five Star Turkey Trots that take place around Thanksgiving.

Five Star Triathlon Championship Qualification:

Overall winners as well as the top two from each age group in the adult races will also be eligible to register for the Triathlon Championships, which will be held on October 5, 2019 in Clarkesville.

Awards:

All participants will receive a custom finisher medal & race shirt as part of their event entry.

There will also be age group awards for the each of the adult races as follows:

Top three Overall M/F
Top three Overall Masters M/F
Top three in each of the normal M/F age groups 19 & Under - 75+

Event Courtesy & Refund Policy:

Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

All registrations are final...We're sorry, but there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments. The event will go on rain or shine. If however the conditions are unsafe for participants or volunteers, the event will be cancelled or rescheduled. We're sorry, but there are no refunds under these conditions.
