THE 39TH ANNUAL CACHE CREEK TO GAME CREEK TRAIL RUN

Entry Fee:

$30 PRIOR TO JULY 1. $35 AFTER JULY 1. $40 RACE DAY.

Race Location:

Cache Creek to Game Creek Trail. Starts in upper lot of Snow King Resort. 

The Teton Mountaineering Cache Creek Trail Run race covers approximately 11 miles or 18 k in the picturesque Bridger-Teton National Forest. The race begins at 8 am in the upper Snow King Resort’s parking lot. From there the course proceeds east, up Cache Creek, then climbs up Game Creek Divide (elev. 7,400 ft.) and down Game Creek to the south and west. Total elevation change is roughly 3,000 feet.

Bib and Packet Pick-Up:

Friday, July 12, between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Teton Mountaineering, 170 North Cache, Jackson, WY.

Age Categories:

14 & under, 15-19,20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50- 54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 -79, 80 plus NEW this year!!! Custom cast Age division winner medals.

Runners’ Kits:

Runners clothing bags may be dropped at the start area for pick up at the finish
line. Mark them clearly.

Registration:

Because of the need to preserve these lands there is a limit to the number of entries available. Register online. You will be required at packet pick up to Send you completed registration and risk acknowledgement along with your fee as soon as possible to ensure your participation.

Awards:

The awards ceremony will be held at Game Creek, next to the finish line at 10:30 am. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. Raffle prizes and age division awards.

The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce can help answer questions regarding lodging and the wide variety of recreational
opportunities that Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park and nearby Yellowstone National Park have to offer. (307) 733-3316 Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm MST.

Aid Stations:

2 water stations are provided along the course. However, due to the back country location and rugged nature of this race, racers are encouraged not to depend on these stations as their sole supply of water. Bring your own water bottle or CamelBak to be sure!
Backcountry Etiquette: Runners using food packets, etc. during the race are reminded to carry out all their own trash. Conscientious backcountry travel ensures future access for all of us who enjoy the National Forest Service lands.

Caution: Trail running is dangerous. Racers could be injured due to many things. On the course there could be conditions such as, but not limited to unmarked obstacles, dangerous animals, and unpredictable weather. Please use caution and prepare accordingly.
