_ 2019 Croom Fools Trail Run :
This race takes place at Croom which is within the Withlacoochee State Forest.
The forest was named one of the "10 coolest places in North America."
The race is limited to 250 runners due to park restrictions.
Course Information:
The Croom Fools Runs course is a hit by everyone who does the race. The trails wind through oak hammocks on a well defined trail that takes runners through some of the best terrain in Florida. The Forest Service has set the race field at 250 runners so register early to ensure a slot.
The Fools Run Races
There are 3 races that are part of the Fools Run Races - 50 Mile Fools Run, 50K I'm Not A Fool Run, and John Holmes 16 Mile Run. The main running trail is a 16 Mile loop. The 50 Mile race does 3 loops, the 50K does 2 loops, and the 16 Mile does 1 loop.
