Description
Franklin County Youth Trail Runners will practice Wednesday evenings 5:45pm from February 13th until May 2nd at various trail systems throughout Franklin County. Youth that love running and can run 3 to 5 miles are encouraged to participate. Team members will enter monthly trail races (March-May) primarily in Roanoke and Bedford County. The average cost of a trail race is $27.00. Families will be responsible for all race registration fees and transportation to events. Scholarships are available upon request. Families are encouraged to run with their children during practice and enter the trail races.
No registration fee required. Registration deadline is February 1st. No late registration available. Participants will be contacted by e-mail regarding practice and race schedule.
