_ The 2019 Omaha Women's Triathlon:
The Omaha Triathlon returns for its 9th year! In 2019, we are offering two days of racing to offer participants more race options. All races occur at Flanagan Lake Recreation Area in NW Omaha. Participants who do both race options receive extra recognition for their achievement!
Saturday June 22nd, 2019, participants compete in a short distance triathlon called a Super Sprint. The distances are approximately 375m Swim, 10K Bike, and 2.5K Run (half the distance of a Sprint Distance Triathlon).
Sunday June 23rd, 2019, triathletes compete in a Sprint Distance Triathlon as in the past years (750m Swim, 20K Bike, 5k Run). Relay Teams consisting of two to three participants may also register!
The Swim course is an open water swim in Flanagan Lake starting and ending at the boat ramp on the East side of the Lake. The bike course exits the recreation area to 168th street and uses the paved roads surrounding and nearby the recreation area.
The Run course utilizes the paved trail around the lake.
Immediately after the Omaha Women's Triathlon on Saturday, the Wonder Girls Youth Triathlon begins. Please volunteer or cheer our youngest female triathletes!
