_ The 2019 Kids on the Run Series:

Kids on the Run Series:
An Elementary School Running Club Race Series. Your child cannot be older than 11 years old to participate.
Sponsored by Sportspectrum Race Management, Foster Orthodintics, Pediatric Dentistry of Shreveport-Bossier,  The Wall Center for Plastic Surgery, Jade Medispa, Vintage Realty, & Sportspectrum Race Management.

Directed by Shelley Armstrong, Ph.D.

A series of one-mile runs designed to build camaraderie and competition among the local elementary school running clubs. Individual runners are invited to participate too.

Child cannot be older than 11 years old to participate in this event.

Entry Fee Options:

1) Online Registration Option:

         $30 for all six (6) races or one race at a time @ $10 per race.

2)  Schools/Running Club Registration Option:

     To mass register more than 10 participants at one time  $30 for all six (6) races

   Online or with a paper entry form.

   Paper entry forms must be submitted to Sportspectrum NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, SEPT. 28th.  

Awards: 

Kids receive a t-shirt when signing up for the series and for race #3. When registered early.

Awards will be presented to the Top 10 finishers at each run.

End of the series $$$ award will be presented to the Running Club with:

1) Most Participants and 2) most Top 10 finishers

Packet Pick-up for Race #1 Only:  at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport

Bib numbers and shirt can be picked up at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Ave.

Sat. Oct. 6, 12-5pm;

Mon. Oct. 8, 10-6pm;

Tues. Oct. 9, 10-2pm;

or at the race location starting at 4:30pm.

Schools that are picking up for more than 10 runners should email list to: [email protected] and give one days notice before picking up the packets.

Chip Timing:  IMPORTANT:  All races are chip-timed. Your child will receive one (1) bib for the entire series. That bib includes his/her chip. The number on the bib is assigned to your child only, throughout the series. Keep your bib throughout the year!

For those doing just one race, that bib number will only be good for that race.

If you have more than one child, write their names on their bibs. No bib = no results. Wrong bib = wrong results.

Bib replacement cost is $10.
