_ The 2019 Ring in Races:
The Ring In trail races are held annually on January 1 at the ASC Greenway. The length, and price, of the race depends on the date. The 2019 race distances have not been decided. Pre-registration will open in the fall and there will be race day registration, unless the race sells out.
The course for the 10 mile course will be the Mill Stone Loop 10.5 mile course. The 8K will be the Mill Stone 8K course. Course maps will be available soon.
The ASC Greenway is different than most urban spaces called greenways. This is a trail race on mostly single track, technical trail. It is a 3000-acre natural area with very varied terrain. There are creek crossings, mud and rolling hills. There are no groomed or paved trails.
The 8K course would be an excellent first time trail race.
