2011 Vincennes YMCA Kids Triathlon:

  • For ages 3-15, the Kids Triathlon is fun and fitness for the entire family.
  • Kids receive a medal and a t-shirt.
  • Volunteers welcome.
  • Financial assistance available.

    • Course Information:


  • The event takes place entirely inside Gregg Park, except the bicycle leg for the Iron Division.
  • The swimming portion takes place in the outdoor pool at Rainbow Beach.
  • The bicycle route for Sprint and Family Divisions uses the road inside the park.
  • For the Iron Division, the bicycle route leaves the park and rides out Washington Avenue.
  • The run takes place on Inman Field, adjacent to the park.

    • Directions:


  • From US Highway 41, take the 6th Street exit.
  • Turn left onto Niblack Blvd. 
  • Turn right onto Washington Avenue.

    • Other Info:


  • Iron: 200m swim, 4 mile bike, 1.5 mile run;
  • Sprint: 100 m swim, 2 mile bike, 3/4 mile run;
  • Family: 50 m swim, 1/2 mile bike, 1/4 mile run
