2011 Kids-ROK Off-Road Triathlon:
Event Details
Open to the public, the Families Get Fit Festival will feature the ROK-a-5K Road Race at 7am, the Kids ROK Off-Road Triathlon at 9:00am and a health fair from 7am to 1pm. The festival will include health care providers, nutrition information, local food vendors, and other exhibitors promoting healthy lifestyles. A kids' fun zone including a musical concert by Eat Like a Rainbow performer Jay Mankita, cool athletic demos and family activities will round out the festival.

9am followed by 10:30am Awards Ceremony

Youth Triathlon Details
- Ages 5-6: 25yd swim, no bike, 1/4m run
- Ages 7-8: 25 yd swim, 1/2m bike, 1/4m run
- Ages 9-10: 50yd swim, 1m bike, 1/2m run
- Ages 11-12: 75 yd swim, 2m bike, 1m run
- Ages 13-14: 100 yd swim, 2m bike, 1 m run
Course Information:
Youth Tri Swim
- The swim will be taking place in the outdoor pool at Patton Park.
- There will be one lifeguard per lane (4 lanes) and one additional head lifeguard.
Youth OFF ROAD TRI!
- This is an OFF-ROAD triathlon.
- Training wheels are prohibited!!
- Racing slicks are not recommended.
Other Info:
Race Shirts
- Cotton race shirts will be given to all youth racers.
- There are youth and adult sizes available.
- Please pay attention when choosing your size.
Awards
- All youth triathletes will be given a finisher medal!!
- Top three triathletes in each age category will be awared a trophy for their accomplishment.
