_ The 2018 Nancy's Ride:

Join Freewheelin’ Community Bikes for its inaugural Nancy’s Ride on Monday, September 3, 2018. The event, named in honor of founder Nancy Stimson, will commence at Freewheelin' Community Bikes at 3355 Central Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46205.

There are 2 events.

Distance Rides: Composed of three routes 30, 62, and 100 miles long for riders to travel throughout Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. The 100 mile century ride is highlighted by the Freewheelin’ Century Club riding their first 100 mile ride which they have been training for all summer.

• Registration opens: 7:00AM - 7:30AM      
• Ride begins: 8:00AM
• Pre Registration online: $40/Rider 
• On-Site/Day of Registration: $50/Rider
• Packet pick-up and on-site registration Sunday, September 2, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Helmets are required to ride.
• Riders 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 or over.
• Training wheels are not allowed.

Destination Ride: Casual paced 10 mile ride with fun things along the way to enjoy. Ideal for families and short distant riders. This ride celebrates the memory of Nancy who always loved to take kids on rides to fun places. The two places we’re going this year are spots Nancy loved to visit and take her kids to.  It’s about the joy of riding and why we ride.

• Registration:  8:30AM - 9:30AM               
• Ride begins: 10:00AM
• Family Registration online & On-Site/Day of: $50/Family (Family=2 persons or more for Destination Ride only) 
• Individual Pre Registration online: $40/Rider
• Individual Pre Registration on-site/day of: $50/Rider              
• Packet pick-up and on-site registration Sunday, September 2, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Nancy’s Ride is a welcoming, inclusive ride for cyclists of all kinds.This is an open-course, unsupported ride, though all routes will be supplied with generous rest stops to refuel with food and water.

• A commemorative T-shirt will be given to all riders registered by midnight August 15, 2018.
• Fundraising is encouraged!   Riders are invited to crowdsource additional support for their participation in the ride.
• Post-ride Picnic & Music @ Freewheelin' starts at noon.
• Sun King will be available to individuals 21 and over. IDs required.

Ride proceeds will benefit Freewheelin’ Community Bikes, a 501(c)3 youth development organization that connects youth with skills for life over a shared passion for the bicycle.
