_ The 2019 Hull of a Race:

Come join us Saturday August 17, 2019 for the 14th. annual Hull of a Race

Our Mission: A 501(C)(3) Public Charity. All proceeds from the event go to Parkinson's Research.

What:   Kids 1/2 mile, 5k/10k Competitive Race, 5k Fun Walk/Roll, party afterwards

When: August 17, 2019
  The 5k/10k races start at 8:00am, and the kids 1/2 mile is at 7:45am (CDT).

Where: All timed events start/end at the N/W corner of Main & Dixie streets in downtown Hull, 62343 (across from the s/w corner of the park).

Courses: The 5K/10K courses are USATF Certified (IL11090JW, IL11091JW) weave through the village of Hull and the surrounding countryside past the bountiful corn and soybean fields.

Timing: The race is professionally chip timed by Elvish Consulting. Overall awards are based on Gun time; age group awards are based on chip (net) time.

Awards: Will be announced following the adult race: Trophies, Medallions, & Ribbons

Age Groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Shirts: Shirts are guaranteed to those signing up by August 3. Shirts are not guaranteed to those signing up after August 3.

Entry Fee: $25 per person for the 5K/10K if registered by Saturday, August 3.
$30 per person for the 5K/10K if registered after August 3, and a shirt is not guaranteed. SAVE $5; register by August 3.
$10 per child for the 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run, if registered by Saturday, August 3 ($15 after). SAVE $5; register by August 3.
$60 per family of up to 4 for the 5K/10K, if registered by Saturday, August 3  ($65 if late). SAVE $5; register by August 3.

Refunds: Come rain or shine, the race will be run. Lightning will postpone and/or cancel the race.
NO REFUNDS – we’ll trust Mother Nature.

Packet Pickup: Pre-registered participants may pick up packets on Friday night, August 16 at the downtown park from 6pm to 8pm, and from 6:45am-8:00am on August 17 in the shelter next to the Fire Station on Main St.

Raffles: $1 per ticket.  Print your name and phone# on the back of the ticket. The certificate raffle will be after the adult race.
