_ The 2018 Out of the Darkness & Into the Bighorns.:
We will be running a beautiful 5k & 10k course through Crazy Woman Canyon near Buffalo, Wyoming in the Bighorn Mountains at 7600 feet. Both courses will descend through the canyon beside the creek on a forest service road between steep canyon walls and beautiful rock formations from 7600 feet down to about 5900 feet. Crystal Heart Foundation is a nonprofit organization aimed at raising funds for community mental health programs in an effort to reduce the suicide rate in Wyoming. It is my hope that the beautiful backdrop of this race will inspire runners to return annually to contribute to this cause, perhaps to a new trail in the Bighorn Mountains every year.
Out of the Darkness & Into the Bighorns is operated under a special use permit with the Bighorn National Forest and is an equal opportunity provider.
