Proceeds from The Katy Triathlon benefit the scholarship fund of the Rotary Club of Katy which
provides grants to graduation seniors of the Katy Independent School District and other valuable community projects.

Rotary Club of Katy Triathlon at Cane Island Divisions
Invitational
The Invitational Division is for those triathletes who have finished top 3 overall or won their age group at any Texas triathlon in 2018. Proof of placing must be furnished to race director. They will be the first wave to start the race.
Individual 
Men's and Women's Age Groups
11-14 (must be 11 years or older to participate); 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-59; 70 +
Collegiate
University/college students carrying 9 or more semester hours - male and female divisions
Clydesdale Division
Men's heavyweight division. You must weigh 220+ pounds to be eligible to race in the Clydesdale division.
Athena Division
Women's heavyweight division. You must weigh 165+ pounds to be eligible to race in the Athena division.
Legends
for returning triathletes who have retired. To be eligible you must have been doing triathlons before 1999. In other words in the last century. You’ll have your own swim wave and awards
Aquabike – 500 meter swim/ 15 mile bike
Duathlon – 3 mile run / 15 mile bike / 3 mile run
Relays

IMPORTANT! ALL PARTICIPANTS!
Katy Triathlon Packet Pick-up All entrants must attend to pick up their packets (NO ONE CAN PICK IT UP FOR YOU). This is a USAT requirement. There will be no exceptions…all packets must be picked up in person during one of these times.
USAT members must bring their current membership card and a picture ID to claim their packet.
NOTE: You cannot pick up your packet without either a one year or one day USAT membership.
If you are NOT a USAT member, a one-day pass may be purchased at Packet Pick-up. The cost of a One-Day Membership is $15 for adults ($10.00 for youth 17 and under.) CASH ONLY - The nearest ATMs are at Walmart, just two blocks away.

Race NO RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

NO REFUNDS:  nor will we transfer participant entries

RELAY TEAMS!
All three members of a relay team must pick up packets together. NO RELAY PACKETS WILL BE HANDED OUT INDIVIDUALLY 
Beginning at 6:00pm on Saturday, September 22th, unclaimed packets will be sold.
We will not be keeping any list or making any phone calls - be in line before 4:30 pm.

Race is limited to 750 participants plus relays.
