_ The 2019 Cocoa Beach Triathlon:
Florida's favorite early season sprint triathlon. The race offers a protected swim in the Banana River, a flat out and back bike course and a beautiful run along the Cocoa Beach Golf Course.
The 10th Annual Ron Jon Cocoa Beach Triathlon comes April 14, 2019 and will feature live music at transition, pizza and beer after the race and a fun time for all. This race is perfect for first-timers and experienced triathletes alike and features a "First-Timers" division.
The race is capped at 650 entrants and has sold out the past five years so early entry is advised.
Swim Course:
The 1/4 mile swim is held in the Banana River and is typically calm as the area is largely sheltered from the winds. It is a beach start and beach exit. The course is well-marked and has great lifeguard support.
Bike course:
The 12-mile bike course is an out and back from the Country Club, down historic State Highway A1A and back to the country club. The course parallels the Atlantic Ocean and is completely flat.
Run course:
The 3.1 mile run course changes in 2019 and will now be almost completely along the cart paths and trails of the Cocoa Beach Golf Course. Scenic morning views of the course and the Banana River will be a highlight of the race.
