_ The 2018 American Masters Athletics 5k Series, Greensboro NC:

Join us for the American Masters Athletics Greensboro 5k being held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Greenway.  This race is part of the American Masters Athletics Series!

As part of the American Masters Athletic Series, participants will take part in one of the most exciting national-focused series and will have a chance to obtain an age-group or overall medal and also obtain a custom American Masters memento if signing up as one of the first 100 participants!

This is a streamlined "no-frills" race to keep the race fees low, number of prizes and mementos high, while providing a fun running environment.

Race details are below:

• Start of the race will begin at 9:00AM with late registration and packet pickup beginning at 7:00AM.

• An exciting 5 Kilometer (3.1 mile) competitive race awaits on the Greenway Trail (paved sidewalk) down and back path.

• The race path is a public course so runners will need to be mindful of others on the trail including cyclists, runners and walkers.

• The first 100 registrants will get a custom memento (an American Masters Athletics 5k Series, Commemorative Greensboro 5k License Plate, collect them all!)

• Top man and woman to win medals and $20 Road ID Gift Cards

• Ten-Year Age-Group first place medals to the winning men & women in each 10-year age group after age 20 (1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-99, 100+)

• Team award for the team with the most participants

• Small number of refreshments post-race

• Water at the turnaround

• Fee on Race Day is $30.00onsite from 7:30am - 8:45am  (Cash or Credit Card for race-day registration)
