_ The 2018 Sam's 5K Run:
5K loop through Laurel to benefit Step In, a program designed to increase community awareness of suicide prevention and the importance of mental health. Participants can race or walk the course and enjoy a pancake breakfast. The race starts and ends at the Laurel Sports Complex. There will be an informal Kids Run just prior to the start of the 5K. Please join us to increase awareness and come together as a community to show support for mental health and making healthy choices.
Packet Pick up for locals is 4:00-7:00 at the Rock Church (820 W 9th Street Laurel) on Friday, August 17th. There will be limited packet pickup available for those traveling on race day morning from 6:40 - 7:40. Kids' Run at 7:45.
