The 12th Annual Race Montana Triathlon is scheduled for August 5, 2018.
The Race Montana Triathlon involves both Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons. The Olympic distance Tri has a 500 meter snake swim in the Electric City Water Park pool. The bike portion will cover a total of 24.4 miles of both flat and hilly terrain. The run will consist of a flat and fast 10k course.
The Adult Sprint Triathlon swimmers will begin immediately following the Olympic distance swim. This event includes a 500 meter swim, a 12.2 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run. If you do not want to compete in all three events, that’s no problem. Find 1 or 2 other individuals and compete as a team. The Olympic and Sprint swim will start at 7am based on estimated swim time. Fastest swimmers enter the water first.
By popular demand, we will be adding an adult "Try a Tri" event. It will start immediately following the swim portion of the Adult Olympic and Sprint Triathlons. It will include a 100 meter swim, 3 mile bike and a 1 mile run - identical to the Youth Long Course.
There will be two youth division events. Starting at 9:00 a.m will be the Youth Long Course event which includes a 100 meter swim (2 pool lengths), a 3 mile bike; and a 1 mile run. The Youth Short Course will start promptly at 9:30am and includes a 50 meter swim (1 pool length), a 1 mile bike; and a ½ mile run.
