The 4th annual Freedom 5 K Run will take place on Monday, July 30 with proceeds benefiting the Army\'s southern Maine anti-human trafficking program The Well.
The Freedom 5 K is a 5 km run near the ocean in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The course offers the opportunity for fast times with last year\'s winning time being 17.09 minutes.
People can register online right until July 27 at: RunSignUp.com
The entry fee is $25 when made online, or $30 when registering in person before July 28 at The Salvation Army’s Pavilion, 8 Sixth Street, Old Orchard Beach, ME.
On the day registration is also $30 and can be made right up till 6.45 a.m. on event day at the starting point at Old Orchard Beach High School, 40 Emerson Cummings Blvd.
