The SWAIN SWAMP STOMP & Obstacle Challenge

The SWAIN SWAMP STOMP & Obstacle Challenge is back!  This 4 mile event sits along the face of Swain Ski Resort, so you can expect a lot of elevation changes.  The course features over 20 obstacles along with several natural ponds to cross, a mixture that makes it perfect for both the weekend warrior looking for a new challenge as well as the casual runner looking their first challenge.  The Swamp Stomp is complete with a beer truck, food, and an afterparty.  Register before July 1st and get a FREE event t-shirt.  

The Swamp Stomp is geared toward adults but minors can participate if running with an adult.

FREE T-Shirts are ONLY available for those who register BEFORE July 1st.

• May 2nd - June 1st - as low as $39 per person plus FREE T-Shirt
• June 2nd - July 1st - as low as $49 per person plus FREE T-Shirt
   
• July 2nd - Aug 1st - as low as $59 per person
• Aug 2nd - Sept 7th - as low as $69 per person
• Day of the Event - $89

Li'l Stompers Challenge

The Li'l Stompers Challenge is a fun obstacle challenge for kids ages 5 - 12 years old. We will be completely redesigning this as well this year making it longer, more challenging, and a lot more fun!!! The race will start at 2:30 sharp, but we ask all children to be at Swain at least 30 minutes early to sign in.

We be lining up all children who are registered for the Li'l Stompers at 2:30 and then breaking them into smaller groups. The older children will go first, then we will work our way down to the younger children. Here are the approximate start times per age group:

• Ages 11 & 12 - 2:45
• Ages 9 & 10 - 2:55
• Ages 7 & 8 - 3:05
• Ages 5 & 6 - 3:15

These start times are subject to change based on how many children are registered.

PLEASE NOTE: We will allow an older sibling to run the course again with a younger sibling in the 5 & 6 year old age bracket only... as long as the older sibling has the intent on helping his or her younger sibling complete the course.

Upon completion of the final children's race, all children are free to play on the obstacles for the remainder of the day.
