_ The 2018 FFYTri+:

Join us for the 23rd Annual FFYTri+

 This fun challenge is a fundraiser for Foundation For Youth to provide scholarships to area youth for afterschool care with the Boys & Girls Club; summer programs at our Youth Camp; mentoring with Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Athletic programs such as basketball and volleyball.

The Sprint and Olympic Triathlons start in the private waters of North Lake in Tipton Lakes; then on to the scenic bike course of western Bartholomew County, and complete the last discipline of the race running through the neighborhoods of Tipton Lakes. The same courses will be enjoyed by the athletes participating in the Sprint and Olympic Duathlons.  These are USAT Sanctioned Races.

A 5k & 10k walk/run will be through the scenic neighborhood of Tipton Lakes.

Hundreds of volunteers and staff come together to provide each athlete the opportunity to experience the FFYTri+, doing their personal best and making the most of their training, all while supporting our area youth!

REGISTRATION:

Prices will rise on Monday July 16th an additional $10 per race.

On line registration will end on Tuesday July 31st; no registrations will be taken on 8/1 or 8/2.

FRIDAY AUGUST 3rd from 4:30pm – 7:30pm at Tipton Lakes Marina.                                          SATURDAY AUGUST 4th from 6:00 am to 7:15 am.                                                                  NOTE: Registration cost will be an additional $20 on Friday (8/3) & Saturday (8/4).

ID required at registration. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 Entry fees are non-refundable.

RACE PACKAGE PICK UP:

FRIDAY AUGUST 3rd from 4:30pm-7:30pm at The Tipton Lakes Marina. Pick up your Race Package, free meal for registered athletes (while supplies last) and food will be available for purchase for non registered athletes.

Complimentary boat rides and free bike tune ups, courtesy of Tipton Lakes Association and The Bicycle Station.

SATURDAY AUGUST 4th from 6:00 am to 7:15 am.

MANDATORY PRE-RACE MEETING:

A mandatory pre-race meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, August 4. RACE START is at 8:00 a.m. The FFYTri+ is a USAT Sanctioned race. Approved helmets must be worn during the bicycling portion of the race. All USAT Rules apply.

PARKING: Is Limited! Carpools or Drop offs are encouraged. Plan to arrive early, be watchful and mindful of traffic cones and caution tape in Tipton Lakes neighborhood.
 

Participants may compete in either the gender division, relay team division, or weight division. The top three individuals male and female for each individual race; the top three teams in each team race; the top Athena (>165 lbs) and Clydesdale (>220 lbs) for each individual race; the top three individuals for the 5k & 10k will receive awards.

**Starting in 2006, USAT rules states that a participant's age for awards be based on their age on December 31st of current year** NO ONE UNDER AGE 14 IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE.

The 23rd Annual FFYTri+ will be timed by "Mattoon Multi- Sport" using the most advanced timing system - ChampionChip!*** Award presentation and post-race food will follow the event at the Tipton Lakes Marina. Race registrations are capped at 450.

MISCELLANEOUS: Participants will receive a race t-shirt, swim cap, and post-race food. Race results will be available at www.FoundationForYouth.com on the following Monday.
