Fun in the snow.  The inaugural Iron Challenge Fat Tire Bike Race Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at 10 am.  This fun, festive Fat Tire Bike Race criterium (lap style) race, will provide you with challenge and fun alongside other racers of your ability, with 3 levels, beginner/intermediate/advanced each a timed race ranging from 45-60 minutes in length.  Our beautiful 1/2 mile course in the woods of Ironwood Springs will make you feel like like you are hundreds of miles away.  Excellent complientary amenities include Hot Panera coffee, hot choclate, Perkins bakery items and nutritional items from Mauer Nutrition and GU Energy Products.  Onsite concessions include a variety of lunch items including toasty and tasty soup.  

Also included with a bike race registration is a 4K fun run.  Others can register for the Fun Run for just $0.00.  Complimentary snow tubing, snow shoeing and other winter activities will be offered throughout the day.  Bring your family to cheer you on as you zoom around the 1/2 mile track; as they enjoy hot goodies while warming up near one of the many bonfires.  Take a breather from the city and enjoy the beauty of Ironwood Springs containing an alluring 250 acres of woods, rivers and trails.

Event details and schedule

Registration and packet pick up begins at 10 am.  You may register on site if necessary.  All participants must sign a waiver on site, even if you have online.  Dress warmly and safely, all participants on bike must wear a helmet at all times.  

Free parking onsite, our attendants will guide you to parking.  Showers are available.  Food and beverage on site, your own food is allowed.
