_ The 2018 Oakland Freedom Celebration Veteran's Triathlon!!!:
A special event to raise awareness for the surrounding community & raise money for veterans. This event is a sprint triathlon that will take place at the Oakland swimming Pool and will consist of a 250 meter swim, 12.2 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run. All events will start and stop at the Oakland Pool.
Participants of the past two years have stated that this is an excellent course, fast yet challenging. Perfect for the begginer and great training for the experienced athlete!!!
Awards for the Top 3 finishers in each age catagory, overall winner both male and female, farthest traveled and most patriotic. Finishing medals for all!!
Event details and schedule
On July 6, 2018 from 5-7pm there will be a packet pickup at the Oakland Pool located at 508 Reel, Oakland Il.
Race Day: Packet Pickup & Registration 6:00am until 7:30am Oakland Pool
Cost: $60.00 Single $90.00 Team
Parking will be posted
Waivers & ID Required on race day
