_ The 2018 8th Annual Miles for Meals 5K Run/Walk presented by Chatham Parkway Subaru is a great way to have fun, get some exercise, and do a good deed. Bring your four-legged friends, kids in strollers, dress as your favorite food and help Senior Citizens Inc. (SCI) FIGHT SENIOR HUNGER in our community!
Miles for Meals is a fun 5K run/walk perfect for all ages. Race proceeds will benefit SCI’s Meals on Wheels, which brings friendly smiles and hot, healthy meals to more than 1,000 seniors throughout Chatham, Bryan, Liberty and Effingham counties.
The race starts at Senior Citizens, Inc. on Bull Street, goes through the picturesque Washington Avenue and ends at Senior Citizens, Inc. Participants are invited to a post-race awards ceremony.
8:00 am Kids Run ( 400 yards, Ages 8 & under)
8:30 am 5K - 3.2 mile Run/Walk
OVERALL AWARDS
Top 3 overall male and female
Top 3 male and female in each age group
Additional awards: Best costume, most senior, most junior.
Awards will be presented immediately following tabulations at Senior Citizens, Inc.
Packet Pickup will be on Friday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Senior Citizens, Inc., 3025 Bull Street, Savannah, GA, 31405.
