The only major triathlon ever held in downtown Portland, Oregon welcomes you to the fifth annual City of Portland Triathlon. Swim beneath the iconic bridges, ride amongst the steel and concrete giants, run through parks and paths teeming with urban life.
The Portland Triathlon offers individual Sprint and Olympic distance races and a relay Olympic distance triathlon.
The race is capped at 1,000 participants and sold out in 2009 and 2010.
Course Information:
The swim is in the Willamette River, bike from downtown, through a tunnel, and through forested sections and the run is around the river on the esplanade.
