Johnson Lake Triathlon :
Triathlon : Swim 1500 Meters, Bike 24.9 Miles, Run 6.2 Miles

2011 Johnson Lake Triathlon:

Kearney Cycling & Fitness, Johnson Lake Chamber of Commerce, Johnson Lake EMS bring you the 1st Annual Johnson Lake Triathlon.

The race takes place in the scenic rural lake country of central Nebraska.

Course Information:

Swim:

The 1500 meter swim is a clockwise swim beginning at the swim beach on the south east side of the lake.

Bike:

The bike course is an out and back that follows the around the west side of the lake on Johnson Lake Drive then turn west on RD751 and follow the road until you come to the turn around.

Run:

Upon returning to the park you will rack your bike and get on the paved Hike and Bike trial and proceed north to Bullhead Road.

The run then follows the road (gravel) through a residential area and then along the lake outlet canal.

At the turn around you return the same way you went out.

Directions:

40 miles west of Kearney and 10 miles south of Lexington Nebraska.
