With three great years behind us, the Lakes Region Tri Festival team would like to invite all triathletes, aquabikes and relay teams back to Lakes Region Tri Festival 2018 at Newfound Lake, one of the best triathlon venues in New England and the best way to close out your triathlon season!

What's in it for you?
The Sprint Distance (Saturday, September 22, 2018) includes a 350 yard swim along Wellington State Park beach, a 16 mile bike ride around Newfound Lake through pastoral New Hampshire and a 5 kilometer run along the lake to end off your Sprint Triathlon.
The Olympic Distance (Sunday, September 23, 2018) includes a 0.9 mile swim in the crystal clear waters of Newfound Lake, starting and ending at the beach in Wellington State Park, a 32 mile bike ride twice around Newfound Lake, through pastoral New Hampshire, followed by a 10 K run along the lake to end your Olympic distance triathlon.
Please note: Our event is a USAT sanctioned event. Non USAT members will be required to purchase a one-day licence ($15) during registration.

Swim in the pristine clean water of Newfound Lake from the longest fresh water beach in the New Hampshire State Park system. The swim starts on the far east end of the Wellington State Park beach and follows a rectangular loop and exits the water at the west end of the beach close to the transition area.
Exit the transition area; take a right turn on West Shore Road and cycle clock wise around the lake; right on North Shore Road: right on West Shore Road up to Wellington State Park on the right. Olympic distance participants will do the route twice.
The run of the Sprint distance race exit the transition area: turn right (North) on West Shore Road run along the lake shore on West Shore Road and turn around at 1.55 mile back to the transition and finish line. The Olympic distance participants will do the same route twice.

• Take I-93 N towards Concord.<br />
• Take the NH-132S/NH-104 W exit, Exit 23, towards New Hampton/Bristol/Newfound Lake.<br />
• Turn left onto NH-104/NH-132/NH Route 104. Continue to follow NH-104.<br />
• Turn slight right onto NH-3A. Continue to follow NH-3A.<br />
• Turn left onto W Shore Rd.<br />
• Turn right onto W Shore Rd.<br />
• Wellington State Park is on the right.<br />

<strong>POINTS NORTH:</strong><br />
<br />
• Take I-93 S towards Littleton NH.<br />
• Merge onto NH-3A/Tenney Mountain Hwy via EXIT 26 toward US-3/Plymouth/Rumne<br />
• Enter roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto Mayhew Turnpike/NH-3A.<br />
• Turn right onto N Shore Rd.<br />
• Turn left onto W Shore Rd.<br />
• Wellington State Park is on the left.<br />
