Swim in the pristine clean water of Newfound Lake from the longest fresh water beach in the New Hampshire State Park system. The swim starts on the far east end of the Wellington State Park beach and follows a rectangular loop and exits the water at the west end of the beach close to the transition area.
Exit the transition area; take a right turn on West Shore Road and cycle clock wise around the lake; right on North Shore Road: right on West Shore Road up to Wellington State Park on the right. Olympic distance participants will do the route twice.
The run of the Sprint distance race exit the transition area: turn right (North) on West Shore Road run along the lake shore on West Shore Road and turn around at 1.55 mile back to the transition and finish line. The Olympic distance participants will do the same route twice.
