_ The 2018 Turtleman Triathlon:
Super Sprint – 300yd Swim, 5mi Bike, 1.2mi Run
Sprint – 600yd Swim, 10mi Bike (2-Loops), 3.1mi Run
Nestled in the heart of beautiful Jupiter, Florida, you will swim in the pristine waters of the Atlantic Ocean, ride down the coast with spectacular beach views, and run through scenic Carlin Park. The “Super Sprint” distance is perfect for first-timers and pros alike. Race full throttle to find out who is the fastest, or relax and take in the breathtaking views that Turtleman has to offer. Want to go longer? No problem. The Sprint Distance is just for you! Everyone comes together in the end for a pancake breakfast and celebration!

Super Sprint
Swim 300yd – This will be a current assisted swim in the Atlantic Ocean. Buoys will be placed approximately 50yd offshore where you will swim out 50yd, then turn north or south (depending on currents), swim 200yd with the current, then turn the last buoy before coming back into shore.

Bike 5mi – You will exit the transition area onto Van Kessel Pkwy the head south on Ocean Blvd. You will ride ~2.5mi before making the u-turn at Marcinski Rd. Then you will ride north on Ocean Blvd and enter transition from the south entrance to the park. The course is very flat with only one minor hill at the start of the ride.

Run 1.2mi – You will exit the north end of transition and run straight out the north entrance to the park (Van Kessel service road), turn right on Ocean Dr. You will run north on Ocean Dr for ~0.3mi before making a u-turn and heading back the same way you ran out. *Note: The Sprint Course follows the same route but does NOT turn at the Super Sprint u-turn sign. Make sure you know which distance you are racing as to not get this confused. There will be a volunteer at the u-turn sign but it is the athlete’s responsibility to know the course.

Bike 10mi (2-Loops) – IMPORTANT! THIS IS A 2-LOOP COURSE – ANY SPRINT DISTANCE ATHLETE THAT ONLY COMPLETES 1-LOOP WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
You will exit the transition area onto Van Kessel Pkwy the head south on Ocean Blvd. You will ride ~2.5mi before making the u-turn at Marcinski Rd. Then you will ride north on Ocean Blvd back toward the park. On your FIRST LOOP you will PASS the entrance of transition before making a u-turn onto your SECOND LOOP. You will then do the same course again. After your SECOND LOOP you will enter transition from the south entrance to the park. The course is very flat with only one minor hill at the start of the ride. You will hit it twice since you will be riding a SECOND LOOP!

There you will make a left turn, heading north on Ocean Trail Way for ~0.35mi before making a u-turn and heading back the same way you ran out. *Note: The Super Sprint Course follows the same route but does NOT turn at the Super Sprint u-turn sign.
