_ The 33rd Annual Freedom Springs Triathlon
The 33rd annual sprint distance triathlon will be held at the beautiful Blue Springs Recreation Park, 5461 Blue Springs Road in Marianna, Florida on Saturday, July 7th, 2018.
This is a sprint triathlon: 0.25 swim, 10 mile bike, and 5K run. This race is great for first-time triathletes, beginners and fat tire riders.
SWIM (0.25 mile) takes place in a spring water (68F, wetsuits are allowed).
BIKE (10 miles) is a fast fun out and back ride.
RUN (5K=3.1mile) start on a road and leads onto a clay fun safe road.

Event details and schedule
Packet pick-up and body marking begins at 5:30 am (CST) at the Park on the day of the race.
Race starts at 7:00 with the ALL MEN WAVE follow by ALL WOMEN WAVE at 7:03 AM (CST).
Awards ceremony will take place after the last athlete crosses the finish line.
All athletes registered on June 25th will be guaranteed a t-shirt of the desired size. After June 25th we can only guess and order random sizes that may not fit you. If you love race t-shirts – please register ahead of time!
**THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!!**
This race is not sanctioned by USAT.

Course Information:
• Swim in crystal clear blue spring (water temp 70 degrees year round). (kids also swim in blue spring)
• Bike has nice incline at start, no hills throughout course.
• Run has 3 hills, most of course on dirt.
Directions:
• One mile east of the courthouse in Marianna, take Hwy 71 north off of Hwy 90.
• Go one mile, take Blue Springs road east three miles and look for park sign on right.
