_ The 2018 Super Hero Triathlon and Duathlon:

The Super Hero races feature unique divisions and awards for men and women who want to dress up as their favorite HERO to celebrate the roles of all of the heroes in our lives. Each athlete will receive a custom Super Hero Triathlon/Duathlon tech-tee race shirt, an athlete goody bag, swim cap, and post race meal.

This year at the Super Hero Triathlon and Duathlon, ALL Retired and Active Police and Firefighters can register and race for FREE. 

Course Description:

Swim - The race starts from the beach in with a 400 yard mile swim from the beach area. The swim course will be a triangular course in Folsom Lake marked by the large white triangular buoys. Water temperature should be approximately 70-74 degrees. Wetsuits are allowed. The swim will exit the lake and head up the beach and on a grassy path to the transition area located in the parking area.

Bike - The bike course is 6.5 miles. You will ride within the park on roads closed to traffic. Please be careful while on the road. Riders must stay to the right at all times! Riders must not draft other riders: You must maintain at least THREE bike lengths at all times behind the rider in front of you, and you MUST ride single. Water and electrolyte beverage, along with energy gels will be available in the transition area.

Run - The run course begins directly outside the transition area and is a 2 mile out-and-back course on trails within the park. There will be two aid stations with water and electrolyte beverage, plus energy gels on the run course. One at the start of the run, and one at the turn-around point on the run course. ALL athletes must wear their race number on the front of their body during the run and have it when crossing the finish line.

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week.
