_ The 2018 Visalia PAL Resolution 5K:
The Visalia PAL RESOLUTION 5K and Kids Fun 1/4 Mile Run held on NEW YEAR'S DAY is a great fundraiser for VISALIA PAL (POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE). The proceeds raised will fund PAL kids attending PAL HONOR CAMP next June. Police Officers staff the week-long camp allowing up to 50 students grades 4-12 to experience exciting outdoor activities in the Sequoia National Forest.
The 5k Race is a loop run or walk along Downtown Visalia. All finishers receive a superb medal depicting the Visalia Police Department Badge and a matching running shirt.
The family-friendly morning starts at 8:45 with the free Kids' 1/4 Fun Run within sight of family members. A waiver must be signed the morning of to receive a kids FINISHER'S MEDAL!
The finish line includes snacks and an Expo with several surprises. Please RESOLVE to bring your family and friends to join a worthy cause at this healthy activity on the first day of 2018.
