_ 2018 Alaska Splash n' Dash Kids Series:
Mission: To get more kids to become involved in the sport of triathlon in the state of Alaska by providing inclusive, fun races for kids ages 5-19 from beginners through the competitive level.
Race Description: The aquathlon (swim/run) will start with a swim in Service High School Pool followed by a run on a mixture of dirt ski trails and pavement. MAP BELOW!
Course Information:
SEA OTTER’S – Pee Wee/Youth/Juniors 100m Swim - 1.5k Run
• Swim: 100m (2laps) in Service High Pool
• Run: 1.5k loop running course on pavement and gravel trails (1 lap of the run course)
PUFFIN’S – **Youth/Junior Elite 300m Swim - 3k Run
• Swim: 300m (6 laps) in Service High Pool
• Run: 2 loops of the 1.5k course on a variety of pavement and dirt trails.
