The 5K Reindeer Run and Romp, held annually on the first Friday of December, is an evening event that utilizes downtown Newark, the University of Delaware campus and the James F. Hall Trail. The event is held on the same night as the City of Newark’s Department of Parks & Recreation "Winterfest" celebration.
