Come out and test your skills at kayak, bike, run! This is a fun event to be held on the beautiful Cassadaga Lake. Using the same course at the Southern Tier Triathlon Club's Summer Tri Series; we will kayak an obstacle course, bike a hilly 13 mile loop and then run a flat 2 mile out and back along the lake shore. A great team relay event or perfect to test your skills.
Kayaks are available for rent through Evergreen Outfitters on a first come-first serve basis or bring your own. Rental reservations must be made before race day!! Any kayak is acceptable for this race. Must call 716-763-2266!
All races USAT sanctioned. All rules apply. There is no refund for this race.
All ages welcome. Overall, team and age group awards.
Course Information:
Kayak: 3 mile obstacle course on Middle Lake in Cassadaga start/finish at Cassadaga Beach.
Bike: 13 mile, hilly, ride. All right hand turns. Park Ave, Maple Ave, Frisbee Road, Glasgow Road, Fredonia/Stockton Road (Route 73), Webster Road, Porter Road, Route 60, Maple Ave, Park Ave.
Run: 2 mile run, flat, out and back from Park Ave. to Dale Drive along the lakeshore.
Directions:
From I-90, Take Fredonia/Dunkirk Exit #59. 8 miles on Route 60 South. Right turn at light on to Maple Ave in Cassadaga. 1st right is Park Ave.
From I-86, Take Jamestown Exit #12. 19 miles on Route 60 North. Left turn at light on to Maple Ave. in Cassadaga. 1st right is Park Ave.
