  • Olympic and sprint distance triathlons staged at Paulus Park in Lake Zurich Illinois, USA.

    Course Information:

  • Participants will be bused from transition area in Paulus Park across the Lake to Breezewald Park for swim start.
  • Swimmers will swim westbound at Paulus Park beach and run on a paved path to bike transition area.
  • Transition area will be marked by race number.
  • Bikers will walk/run bikes out of transition area to paved parking lot and mount bikes entering bike course.
  • Runners will follow course through the streets of Lake Zurich ending back at Paulus Park race finish line.

  • Lake Zurich is in northeast Illinois, 35 miles northwest of Chicago Illinois, and 31 miles southwest of Kenosha Wisconsin
  • The park is located on Rand Road(Route 12), North of Route 22.

  • From intersection of Route 12 and Route 22 - take Route 12 North to park entrance on the right side of the street.

  • Articulate Promotions proudly presents the 12th Annual Lake County Triathlon.
  • Competitors all across the Midwest, covering all ages, will compete in the districts great tradition.
  • Tri-athletes will begin their back-to-back events starting at the brilliant Paulus Park.

  • Awards will be given to those who can master the course with the fastest time.
  • The Lake County Triathlon is one of the areas fastest growing events. Local community businesses as well as corporate companies will be showing their support by sponsoring this years event.
