Triathlon : Swim 200 Yards, Bike 6 Miles, Run 2 Miles |
Each year hundreds of kids will enjoy the calm waters of BLUEWATER Lake before biking on the flat roads in valley. Then, athletes put on their running shoes for a run course around the scenic BlueWater Development.
Bring the family to Omaha and make it a Triathlon weekend. The weekend offers the Kids Triathlon on Saturday and the Omaha Triathlon on Sunday.
Omaha Kids Triathlon (July 15h) - The Kids race at the same venue as the adults
Location: BlueWater Lake, Valley, Nebraska
Parking: Parking will be clearly marked adjacent to the venue and transition area. Please follow the Parking signs and arrows where to park.
Course Logistics: The distances may be adjusted to ensure safety and easier athlete flow as the Kids races increase in size or if there is inclement weather.
The kids will enter the water one at a time every 3 to 5 seconds. This is called a time trial start.
Age Group Distances:
Kids 6 to 8: Swim 150 Meters, Bike 5k (3.1 Miles) Run 2.28 k (1.42 miles)
Kids 9 to 10: Swim 150 Meters, Bike 5 k (3.1 Miles) Run 2.28 k (1.42 miles)
Kids 11 to 12: Swim 300 Meters, Bike 10 k 2 Loops (6.2 Miles) Run 2.28 k (1.42 miles)
Kids 13 to 14: Swim 300 Meters, Bike 10 k 2 loops (6.2 Miles) Run 2.28 k (1.42 miles)

7:30 a.m. – Transition Area opens for Kids Triathlon
8:00 a.m. – Registration opens for Kids Triathlon
8:45 a.m. - Transition Area closes for Kids Triathlon
8:55 a.m. – Mandatory race briefing for kids and parents.
9:00 a.m. - Omaha Kids Triathlon swim start
10:30 a.m. – Awards Ceremony
11:30 a.m. – Transition Area closes for Omaha Kids Triathlon (All bikes and equipment must be removed from the transition area)
Who we are: Race Omaha provides multi-sport events for Women, Adults and Kids in the state of Nebraska. We promote a healthy and active lifestyle for youth and adults one event at a time. We are a 501©3 non-profit organization.
Refund Policy: No refund or transfers are given for any reason. Considerable effort goes into producing such an event and funds are expended early in the process to create this race. Thank you for understanding this policy.
