_ 2017 Love Rocks Run™ 5k run/walk & 1k kids run:
2nd Forest Grove Love Rocks Run™, in cooperation with the City of Forest Grove, Oregon we are excited to once again share love and joy with the Love Rocks Run™ this July!
The event will consist of a 5K Run / Walk, and will also include a children’s 1K fun course. After the race, we invite everyone to participate in the post-race community fair, with live music, food, drinks, non-profit businesses and community services. Star Wars characters, Princesses, magicians, balloon artists and face painters are also lined up to ensure smiles and joy for all.
This is truly a family focused, community event.
Love Rocks is a worldwide movement started in Forest Grove, OR in honor of two sisters, Anna and Abby, who lived a very love drenched life and continue to teach those who hear their story, how to live the best life possible. For more information about Love Rocks go to www.love-rocks.org.
The Love Rocks Run™ audience is varied with running diehards, walking enthusiasts, couch-to-5k individuals who are interested in the outdoors, healthy and active living, and above all… sharing love and joy. While most people will be from the Portland Metro area there will also be participants from across the country who are involved in a virtual capacity.

Course Information:
The starting line is between the parking lots of Tom McCall Upper Elementary School’s East and West buildings ~ just look for the rainbow and the crowd! The run course goes West down S.W. Ritchey Road to S.W. Stringtown Road where you will turn around and back to where you started.
