This is a great triathlon for the beginners and for young triathletes the course is flat and fast. The course record for the event is under 58 minutes. This is a very competitive race and the college campus that the event is located on is spectacular and easy to get to from just about anywhere. There is pizza along with water gatorade and this year chocolate milk after the event while waiting for awards ceremony. This year it will be trophies for the overall winners and heavy medals 1st through 3rd in each age group and 1st and 2nd place in the team catagories. Online registration is open till midnight the thursday before the event, pre registering will ensure that your shirts will be correct size and that you receive a shirt. Those that are not preregistered may not, or only while supplies last. Typical race year is 100-110 participants and growing.
Event details and schedule
Transition area opens at 6 am the day of the race as does registration. There is a pre race meeting poolside at 7:45 and the race begins at 8 am. Pizza will be served at 10:30 and Awards typically will occur at 11:00 -11:15. Back on the road going home by 12:00 pm
