The SSG Jason Dahlke Adventure Race is a unique combination of checkpoint finding and physical challenges. Compass skills are required. Enjoy a tough course for both beginners and experts. Expect approximately 4-6 miles of trekking, 12-15 miles of biking, and 1-2 miles of kayaking in the 4-hour race. The 2-hour race does not include kayaking. Shirts, participant medals, swag bags, and the potential for door prizes for all racers. Racer winner medals for 1st - 3rd place in each of 4 categories. A BBQ lunch and drinks for all racers and guests. Proceeds beyond expenses go to Sua Sponte Foundation support 1/75 Army Ranger and their families, particularly in times of crisis.
Course Information:
LONG COURSE (4 Hour Race)
The Jason Dahlke Energy Adventure Challenge is a unique combination of checkpoint finding and physical challenges. Compass skills are required. The 4 hour race will be on Hunter Army Airfield. Enjoy a tough course for both beginners and experts. While distances will not be disclosed, as is part of the challenge of the race and due to varying distances based on navigation skills, you can expect approximately, 4-6 miles of trekking, 12-15 miles of biking and 1-2 miles of kayaking.
SHORT COURSE (2 Hour Race)
The short course will use the same course, but will not include kayaking. The course will cover less distance, but do still expect challenges and a hard day's work!
Directions:
From Exit 94 on I-95,take GA 204 East for 6.5 miles. Once you pass over the "Forest River", turn Left (N) onto Rio Road. Enter Hunter AAF on the left at the Rio Gate a short distance up Rio Road. IMMEDIATELY after clearing the gate, make a sharp left turn.

A base base is required. It is recommended you apply in advance to avoid long delays upon entry.
