XTERRA Forest Drive will again offer a cash purse to participating athletes along with the chance to win two bicycles and other great prizes.
$3500 CASH PURSE
1st-$600, 2nd-$400,3rd-$300,4th-$200,5th-$100,6th-8th-$50
Course Description
Swim Course: Rectangular course of 1000 meters in Richmond Lake. Competitors shall complete 1 lap with a short run on the beach at the half way point. Swim caps will be provided and must be worn for your safety.
Wetsuits will be allowed if water temperature is 78 degrees or below
Bike Course: The course is in a heavily wooded area with short steep climbs, tight single track, and numerous technical sections. Competitors shall complete 2.5 laps, 14 miles, flowing and fast.
Run Course: Combination of gravel surface road and cross country ski trails. Competitors shall complete 1 lap 4.1 miles. The course is in a heavily wooded area with short climbs.
Transition Area: The Central Transition area serves both the swim to run and run to bike transitions and is located a short 200 yd run from the swim beech.
Divisions:
Adult: (male and female) 5-year
(M: 19 & under) (M:20-24) (M:25-29) (M:30-34) ( M:35-39) (M:40-44)
(M: 45-49) (M:50-54) (M: 55-59) (M:60-64) (M:65-69) (M:75+)
(F: 19 & under) (F:20-24) (F:25-29) (F:30-34) ( F:35-39) (F:40-44)
(F: 45-49) (F:50-54) (F: 55-59) (F:60-64) (F:65-69) (F:75+)
Teams: (relay) mens, womens and mixed (teams may consist of two or three individuals)
Note: age group is determined by your age on the last
day of the year, 12-31-2011
