2011 YWCA of Minneapolis Women's Triathlon:
- Minnesota's only all-women's triathlon, started in 2008, to "Celebrate the Strength of All Women."
- This race provides outstanding support, particularly for first-time triathletes, but all the way up to elite athletes.
Course Information:
Our race venue is Lake Nokomis which is a terrific central location with proven course options.
- We are thrilled to bring the race home to Minneapolis.
- Join us on Minneapolis' beautiful lakes, parkways and river road!
Swim: - Swim 500 yards starting and finishing on Lake Nokomis' main beach.
Bike: - The bike course will be 12-14 miles on scenic Minnehaha Parkway and River Road.
Run: - The 5K run will be on the path around Lake Nokomis.
Directions:
- Lake Nokomis is located in South Minneapolis off of Highway 62 and Cedar Road.

The entry fee is $99
This race provides outstanding support, particularly for first-time triathletes, but all the way up to elite athletes.
