Inspired by community, team-work, and creativity, The Salvation Army designed this annual event that inspires participants to challenge and overcome unknown obstacles on an extraordinary journey…much like the constituents we serve.
The MOST Amazing Race takes you on a quest and tests your physical and mental strength as you race around downtown Fort Lauderdale in the ultimate scavenger-hunt/adventure race.
You’re provided a map of the challenge locations within 4 different zones throughout the designated boundary. Each challenge is assigned a point value. From there, you set out to complete as many challenges as you can within the 4 hour time limit.
The first to complete the race (individual and team) in the allotted time and arrive at the final destination with the most points wins The 2016 MOST Amazing Race.
Event details and schedule
This year’s race takes place on Saturday, April 30th at 7:00am. Check-in begins at 6:00am.
The start/finish line will be in Esplanade Park in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. (400 S.W. 2nd Street) Esplanade Park is located along the New River directly adjacent to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and across from the Museum of Discovery & Science.
The race will run from 7:00am to 11:00am and end with a party and vendor village in Esplanade Park. So, invite your family and friends to cheer you on and meet you at the finish line.
