2011 Tri Hillsboro Triathlon:

  • Swim: 500 meter Lake Swim.  - Map
  • Bike: 16.2 miles Paved Roads.  - Map
  • Run: 3.2 Kilometer Closed Road Run.  - Map

    • Course Information:


  • The swim is an out and back swim. Go around the buoy an you will be on the home stretch of the swim. - Map
  • The bike will be a easy rolling hill ride. You won't get slowed down by steep inclines but pick up great speed on the gradual decline. - Map
  • The run will be on a closed two lane road with 8 foot shoulder with a great view of the lake. - Map

    • Directions:


  • Take I-35 South of Hillsboro to Exit 364 to FM road 310, (Facing South take Right, If Facing North Make a left under bridge.)
  • Drive 5 miles until you reach the FM 1947, (Take a right onto 1947)
  • Boat Launch entrance will be 1 mile on left before the bridge going over Lake Aquilla.

  • Spaghetti dinner after registration packets are picked up for all athletes.
