2011 Western Colorado Triathlon:

  • Western Colorado Triathlon offers two challenging course options:
  • Race date Saturday 9/17/11.
  • Olympic distance - 1500m swim, 24 mile bike and a 10k trail run
  • Sprint distance 750m swim, 15 mile bike, and a 5k trail run.
  • Race location -Highline State Park, Loma, CO.
  • Start time 8:00 AM for Olympic and 8:05 AM for Sprint.
  • Registration is open!

    • Course Information:


  • This venue provides a very scenic backdrop of the Book Cliff Mountains and the Colorado National Monument.
  • The open water swim takes place in the Highline State Park Reservoir - usually wetsuit legal.
  • The bike course is challenging with rolling hills, but no major climbs.
  • The trail run is double and single track with rolling hills, all inside the state park.
