2011 Peregrine Charities Kids Triathlon:

Kid's Packet Pick-up will begin at 11:00 am and the first wave will begin at 1:00 pm.

Parents with children 8 and under will be allowed to help their children setup the transition area and ride/bike along with if necessary.

Parents are NOT allowed in Transition area during the race.

Kickboards and Training Wheels are permitted for the 5-8 age group.

Volunteers will be available to assist your child in the transition area as well as direct them on the race course.

Course Information:

The swim will occur in the shallow portion of George Wyth Lake.

The bike will take place on the George Wyth State Park roads and trails.

The run will occur on a trail next to George Wyth Lake.

Directions:

George Wyth State Park is located off Highway 218 within the Waterloo-Cedar Falls metropolitan area in Northeast Iowa.

Take Highway 218 to Exit 185 and follow signs to the park.

Parking will be clearly marked; please do not park on the grass.

Check-in, transition area, and race start will take place at George Wyth Lake.

2011 Kids Tri Distances:

Ages: 5 - 8: 100 meter swim, 2.5 mile bike, 12 mile run

Ages: 9 -10: 100 meter swim, 2.5 mile bike, 12 mile run

Ages: 11-12: 200 meter swim, 5 mile bike, 1 mile run

Ages: 13-15: 200 meter swim, 5 mile bike, 1 mile run
