2011 Lake Logan International Triathlon:
- The original triathlon at Lake Logan celebrates its 6th anniversary as part of the Lake Logan Multi Sport Festival.
- The international distance race has quickly become one of the premier races in the Southeast, attracting athletes from across the country.
Course Information:
- Lake Logan may be the most beautiful triathlon venue in the country.
- The swim in this pristine mountain lake has a unique course starting near the main docks but finishing under the highway bridge in the mouth of the river.
- The bike course is unusual for the mountains in that it is mostly flat and very fast. It is a lollipop shaped course that takes riders to and from Canton.
- The run course is an out-and-back along a two-lane road along the river. It has a 1-2% grade on the outbound leg, almost guaranteeing a negative split on the downhill inbound leg.
